Are Americans the most complicated people when it comes to dating?

That really made me laugh. Perhaps that's why a lot of American guys are always looking overseas for their soul mate lol.

Probably! We have so many choices and so many different people.

It's definitely true about the s*x and relationship books. I used to work the Self-Help/Psychology section of a bookstore, and it encompassed all aspects of helping yourself, including s*x history, s*x "reference"(meaning graphic pics at times). That d**n section was always pilfered because of people too embarrassed to be seen reading/looking at them, so they'd just throw it on top of an inappropriate section.

Let's just say I had to straighten the s*x reference section at least four or five times a shift. No pun intended. Ahem.

In many ways, yes.

I've dated Americans and Europeans, and Europeans are BY FAR more easygoing about dating.

The line between friends and dating is much more blurry in Europe.  People don't analyze and agonize so much.

Doubtful, except in perhaps that Americans come from dozens of different cultures, and each culture has its own dating and relationship rituals, so there's no "play book" for dating an American.
