Well studying the paranormal Angelic beings seem to have more stealth than ghost. You can sense and feel ghost more than angels. I know ghost are made of electro-plasmic energy but angels...? You can even feel the cold from them.

  1. well, i got this from wikipedia... it's the best i can do... i'm only human... i only know about the angel's baseball team...

    Appearance

Gothic revival angel in a cemetery in Metairie, Louisiana. In the Hebrew Bible, angels often appear to people in the shape of humans of extraordinary beauty, and often are not immediately recognized as angels (Genesis 18:2, Genesis 19:5; Judges 6:17, Judges 8:6; 2 Samuel 29:9). Some fly through the air, some become invisible, sacrifices touched by some are consumed by fire, and some may disappear in sacrificial fire. God, "the Angel of the Lord" appeared in the flames of the thorn bush (Genesis 16:13; Judges 6:21-22; 2 Kings 2:11; Exodus 3:2). They are described as pure and bright as Heaven; consequently, they are said to be formed of fire, and encompassed by light, as the Psalmist said (Psalm 104:4): "He makes winds His messengers, burning fire His ministers." Some verses in the Apocrypha/Deuterocanonical works depict angels wearing blue or red robes but no such reference occurs in the Protestant books.

Though superhuman, angels can assume human form; this is the earliest conception. Gradually, and especially in post-Biblical times, angels came to be imagined in a form corresponding to the nature of the mission to be fulfilled—generally, however, the human form. Angels have commonly been depicted as space aliens who, as the same nature of typical angels, have "wings" and can fly. Angels can be depicted bearing drawn swords or other weapons in their hands—one carries an ink-horn by his side—and ride on horses (Numbers 22:23, Joshua 5:13, Ezekiel 9;2, Zechariah 1:8 et seq.). A terrible angel mentioned in 1 Chronicles 21:16,30, as standing "between the earth and the heaven, having a drawn sword in his hand". In the Book of Daniel, reference is made to an angel "clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz: his body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in color to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude" (Daniel 10:5-6). This imagery is very similar to a description in the book of Revelation. Angels are thought by many to possess wings. This has arisen from references to their ability to fly (Daniel 9:21). Both cherubim and seraphim are depicted with wings in the Bible, and they are both traditionally associated within both the Jewish and Christian hierarchy of angels. Angels are only depicted in Christian, Jewish and Zoroastrian art from the times of the Roman emperor Constance.[citation needed] They are commonly depicted with halos.

Depictions of angels in Christian art as winged human forms, unlike classical pagan depictions of the major deities, follow the iconic conventions of lesser winged gods, such as Eos, Eros, Thanatos and Nike.

Angels are portrayed as powerful and dreadful, endowed with wisdom and with knowledge of all earthly events, correct in their judgment, holy, but not infallible: they strive against each other, and God has to make peace between them. When their duties are not punitive, angels are beneficent to man (Psalms 103:20, 78:25; 2 Samuel 14:17,20, 19:28; Zechariah 14:5; Job 4:18, 25:2).

  2. Ghost are basically spirits trapped in the lower dimension. Angels are like old spirits from a higher dimension. Spirits-ghost are souls-spirits created from our creator God. Angels have been around before man and spirits were created. So yes they would be made perhaps a bit different substances.

  3. Nobody knows what ghosts are made of or angels, therefore this question is unanswerable.

For the record, fake mediums of the past promoted the idea that ghosts were made of ecto-plasm so that they could create a special effect in the dark where they illuminated a peice of material held by someone dressed all in black.

Its the type of thing harry houdini would debunk by going to a seance and turning the lights when the ghost would appear.

  4. Angels are made of hopes, while ghosts are made of fears.

There is no such thing as electro-plasmic energy, and ghosts have never been "tested" to see what they are made of.

  5. Sugar cane, oak trees, wombats, dogs, and giant pandas all belong to the category of beings for which there is known evidence.

The tooth fairy, Father Christmas, ghosts, vampires, fairies, angels, poltergeists, and hobgoblins all belong to a category of fictional beings invented for the delight of children and some adults. There is no evidence for the existence of any of the items in this category.

  6. Parapsychologists say that every thing records its own past. It leaves its signature that can later be sensed by thouse who have extra sensory perceptions. And our minds have the power to generate such frightening E.M signatures especially in an involuntary situation, like when we are threatened or hurt brutally. So ghosts are such E.M variations, which can be picked up by some people. And when the person confronts it, he/she gets scared making the person's mind more focussed on the E.M variation and thus making the experiences more violent or intense. It might even force the person to use his own psychic powers without his/her knoledge to do things like create unexplainable movements, in turn making the person more scared. This is why all haunted ppl say that they feel like the ghost feeds on their fear.

But i think angels might be hallucination, like the ones made by brains to make the person feel better to ease the person's trauma if he is under one for a long time.

  7. some are made of candy and flour and others of dirt and puppy dog tails

  8. Hello

Angels are spirit, spirit are everywhere.

A ghost is an imprint on either time or a place.

    Pam

  9. Angels have heavenly bodies and that's what they're made of.

PS: Demons (fallen angels) on the other hand, have hot bodies.

Hope they make perfect sense. =)

**Edit: Hey Joy! Nice answer. To Universal mind: I wholly agree with Joy and I recommend her answer.

  10. Like anyone on Earth could ever know that.

  11. I don't know the answer to that exactly but I have an idea that they aren't made of flesh. In the bible God speaks of Angles being slightly above a human in ranking and did you know that they too will be judged on judgement day?Angels aren't cold I'm sure they must be warm coming from Heaven. In the Bible they made themselves seen to many people and the accounts depitcts a glow about them .and Ghost do not exsist but Spirits  do.

  12. Angels have been recorded to appear as common men, and simply as visions in dreams. Remember when Lott took in two weary travelers prior to the destruction of Sodom and Gamora? He thought they were just regular people.

I think angels would exist on a different plane and not be anything like humans or ghosts. When they interact with humans, they take whatever form the situation requires, sort of like an avatar in a computer simulation, from their perspective.

  13. I think angels would be totally different from spirits or ghosts. And, I don't think they'd give you a cold feeling. I think that would be a ghost. I think in the Bible , they would talk like people and one of the first things they would say is "Fear not'.They don't want you to be afraid of them, I think. And if they make you feel something...I'd think it would be a warm feeling...a good feeling. But I think you would still be scared because they're not human...and just "appear" out of no where.

  14. There's no such thing as ghosts.

  15. well.....i m saying this according to my religion

    angles r made of light

and ghosts r made of fire

  16. From the Islamic perspective(and to my knowledge), when someone says they saw a ghost it is likely to be either their imagination playing up or they saw something known as Jinn. The Jinn are an existence created by God that live parrallel to mankind (mankind was not the only creation by God). They live and die as we do, they have families and religon etc. There are good Jinns and evil Jinns. Good Jinns obey Allah and stay out of contact with our Universe. Where as the bad Jinns interminggle with our universe and scare humans, this is disobediance to them (like we have sin eg adultery, they aren't allowed to do this). So everytime you hear people saying i saw a UFO or i saw alien, my mum is possesed, my doors in my house keep closing and opening and people (paranormal activities) etc this is basically the Jinn doing something they are not supposed to be doing. The Jinn are made of smokeless fire. The Angles are made of light. They are two different entities.

  17. Nope they all are made of the same stuff what ever that stuff is Who Knows no body has been able to get on in a lab to examine it yet

And what we see if we do ever see one is the light it emits not the substance it is made of.  That is why you always hear of seeing through them.....
