Question:

Are Anti-Feminists Really Wannabe Aristocrats?

Pondering on this, it seems to me that what most anti feminists seem to want...

Is someone to do the housework

Look after the children, and raise them up

Be a good compliant wife and willingly indulge all sexual demands.

And I got to thinking, that back in the day, an aristocratic gentleman would have

A housekeeper

A nanny

A governess

A mistress of the side...

So are anti feminists really just wannabe aristocrats, who lacking the means to pay for the services they crave, instead protest that all these jobs should be done by their wife?

  1. Anti-feminist, in the majority, believe that feminist cause's have caused these women to become sexist themselves.  Sorta like a black man calling a white man racist cracker.  They don't realize but their hatred has misconstrued their own views.

  2. My, aren't there some cranky anti's on the site?

Their funny-bones must be all broken.

I reckon that they do, under the guise of claiming that Feminism is evil.  They just want to push women back into the dark ages.

Why do men automatically believe they are entitled to all this?

    Have they somehow become gods?

  3. An interesting point, and that may cover some anti-feminists, but I think the problem goes deeper.

    Anti-feminist = fearful.

fearful they will have no power in a relationship, if the old gender roles are not reinforced

fearful they will lose power in the world at large, if they have to compete with women

fearful they won't have enough power in the bedroom, if they don't have a passive, compliant partner

  4. I think it depends on who the anti-feminist is.  Some people still want a woman to take care of them.  Others think that feminists are extreme man-haters or bra-burners and don't like that.  Feminists cover a broad range of types of people, some men consider themselves feminist.  Similarly, there are a broad range of people who don't like feminists.

  5. Hang on just one dang minute; oh do you ever got it wrong; and how.  Believe it or not I'm an anti-feminist woman; the point is I'm not going to waste my time if you can't see and read the obvious. In my home I do all of those things you mentioned; with distinct pride may I add; never mind the may part; I do it with distinct pride.  Being that it may, as you see here in this post I am not afraid to speak my mind; nor as some poster said; nor am I fearful.  I don't believe in feminism; nor do I have to. My reward is a job well done; what you need to know about me is I don't go around looking for the approval of others; they like they like; they don't they don't.  Now run along I've got work to do.

  6. I'm an anti-feminist, and I don't want any of those things. I don't support the feminist movement because it is no longer about womens rights, it is about g*y rights and the right to abort children, taking away the entire concept of what a woman and man are meant to be. Feminists aren't fighting for equality, they are fighting for moral indecency. They have forced their way into the classrooms of children they would have rather aborted and cried g*y rights and poisoned the minds of innocent children against the parents wishes, then they turn around and talk about how stupid and awful their parents are because they don't earn $100,000 a year but they never stop to mention the fact that the parents made sacrafices in order to bring them into the world, and they don't tell these kids how many children they aboprted to get where they are. I feel if these people want equal rights, they need to give them to everyone, including parents that don't want their childrens heads filled with garbage, and rights for the children they so callously murder when they enter a doctors office and have an abortion. I don't care what you want, I don't want my kids being taught that it is o.k to go out and have orgies with six or seven people, then cry descrimination when people tell them they are sick based upon their equality as a bi-sexual. ;-)

  7. i believe its possible to have an anti feminist stance AND support equal rights and egalitarian relationships.

as for wanting to be an aristocrat, i would consider buying a title and a monocle, but only for comic value.

  8. I am anti-feminist, anti-establishment. I believe we should have equal rights to some degree, but the feminist's have just taken it too far, besides women's liberation was funded by elites for two reasons extra tax dollars and the destruction of the family unit........you can look that up  if you don't believe me. Anyways, I don't see anything wrong with a women owning or working, but the feminist have just gone too far. Men have little rights now, girls are getting abortions left and right, what good has come of it? I believe that we should go back to more traditional roles. besides "back in the day" only rich aristocratic men would have had those things and he would of done it for his wife and as far as the mistress goes yes most had them, but don't you think that under secrecy that some women  did the milkman, mailman,or someone similar..................I think that blows your hypothesis of ant-feminists wanting to be aristocrats, that sounds more like a feminist wanting all those things hon!

  9. Ive really never came across any man that will openly talk like that in front of me or the people i know (my lil brother jokes to get arise out of my others brothers girl friend about why women are better at doing dishes)

i think the most sexiest conversation i heard is how one guy figures it always up to the girl for birth control and if he got married and they decided not to have more children it would be up to her to get snipped or another form of birth control.

But then again with everything you mention almost any man that's has a bad relationship with his wife in one way or another (other cheating or complains about the way the house is kept ----if shes a house wife anyways)

would be an anti-feminist. i don't think i would say a man that cheats on his wife isn't up for equal rights between both genders but is other needing to talk to his wife about  being more adventurous in the bedroom, needs counselling/couple counselling or it might be best to end the relationship.

Im a stay at home mom myself by choice and since we get by fine actually better then when we both worked since we dont have to pay for child care anymore and dont have to be thier at such and such a time (i have no real schooling ---yet----) however I do try to have supper on the table for when he gets home since I know Id apprecate this and I do perfer a clean home then infestations and possible grounds for mold to grow (we both pitch in if needed) and for sexual "demands" I think we both have open minds and will make sure we both come out satisfied. If a man demands s*x from his wife however I think it would be best to go for counciling since even if shes laid with him a million times she stills has a right to say no im not in the mood or however she decides to say it, that being said so does the man.

  10. You are one delusional man.

We are just anti-facial hair, anti-unshaven-unwashed-looking women, we are anti-buzzcut, and anti-hate, thats all....

  11. Funny how the anti-feminists charge the feminists with lacking a sense of humor.

    Look who's NOT laughing now.

<Molly, I was not referring to you - I thought that was obvious, since you posted your laughs>

  12. LOL    As opposed to feminist that actually  ARE willing to pay for someone else to clean their homes and  watch their children?  Why...because they are too good to do either and deem these duties to be unbecoming of them? Because they have a higher calling ?  Who are  the aristocrats now? lol

Elf #3  I believe I laughed ...twice...and I am laughing yet again. lol

  13. yes, in short i believe so.

there is little talk of partnership and shared responsibilities when you hear an anti-feminist speak.  just a sort of solid whine, indiscernible and useless but constant all the same.

  14. Um no. It is amusing how feminists ignore the facts and the often repeated lists of complaints against feminism.

Most anti-feminists are equalitarian. We or rather I believe that all men and women should have equal rights and equal opportunity. What they do with there rights and what they earn with equal opportunity is up to them.

Since it is clear you want to blast equalitarian for believing that all people have equal rights and equal responsibilities I find it pointless to post here.

But to get the message home this is what I as a men's rights supporter demand.

    1) Fair judicial system. Women often get off too easily. They get away with murder by claiming abuse but yet there are millions upon millions of dollars spent on shelters and other anti-abuse programs.

    2) An end to discrimination in the educational system.

The current educational system is blatantly biased against males. For an example at the college level bigotry look at the duke scandal.

    3) Equal treatment for national service. Why should we have to risk our lives in order to qualify for federal aid for tuition when women get it free? Either end selective service or make women sign up for it too.

    4) Equal treatment in family court. Judges often routinely rape men during divorce proceedings. They give the mother instant custody, the house, car + alimony and child support.

    5) Equal amount of child support and equal treatment for deadbeats. Judges often give men ridiculously high child support and alimony bills but give women when they have to pay pathetically low bills. Added to the fact that 40% of non custodial mothers are dead beats and they never serve a day in jail even if they owe 30,000$.

    6) An end to affirmative action and other openly discriminatory practices. Many firms are giving female employee's larger sign on bonus's for the simple fact that they are female (there trying to increase the number of female workers which isn’t a problem but how there doing it is)

    7) Real division of labor. Men are expected to pay most of the bills, half of the household labor, half of child care. But in many cases end up doing well over half the household labor due to the fact's that feminists do not consider the traditional male chores as housework. That is sexist. There is nothing wrong with doing household work but as long as it is fair.

Either includes mowing the lawn, general repairs, and other hazardous work around the house as part of the division or stop complaining about it.

    8) Then there is the matter of paternity fraud. Feminists think the victim should continue to pay for the benefit of the child. But who really benefits? The lying mother does.

That is the Achilles heel argument that feminist just want equality. When a women is raped she is supported when she wants an abortion but when a man is raped it is ok because it benefits a mother err mean child.

    9) No reproductive rights. Men have no reproductive rights.

They could use a condom throw it into a garbage can, a women they don’t even know can pick it up use it to impregnate herself and bam the guy is stuck paying child support.

And the fact that for 20 years feminist rights activist kept the male contraceptive pill under wraps to protect women’s reproductive err I mean ability to rape and financially destroy men.

    10) The government spends more on women's cancer research then on men’s cancer research. Almost 50% more.

    11) There are more government sanctioned programs for women than men. Not just a few more but allot more. Given the fact that domestic abuse is relatively 50-50% it is clear sexism to not give males the tools to protect themselves from domestic abuse.

That is a list of some of the more important issue's afflicting men.  But I suppose this will be dissected and hashed out as sexist dribble by those that read works like the scum manifesto each night....

  15. Anti feminists want the "special privileges" to be applied to everyone or no one. We want equal time for the same crime.

We want people to be hired based on qualifications, education etc and not because you have b*****s and a pretty smile. We want the BS (like this question) to go away. Much like the lies and hypocrisy that have been continuously spewed out from the mouths of feminists. We want women (in general) to take responsibility for their actions. We'd like them to actually be able to recognize the facts and stop depending on "stories" made up and passed down through the generations. We'd like fathers to be taken seriously in court. We'd like it to not be so easy for women to rape a man's wallet in the judicial process. Namely divorce court.

We can hire and fire a housekeeper if we wanted to.

  16. I think what most men want is for their wife to take care of all the domestic duties, whether she works or not, at any rate that is the impression I get from reading the Marriage and Divorce section on here.

However, caring for the children and doing the housework have traditonally been jobs done by women in all societies.  In aristocratic households, it is women who are relieved from domestic duties by servants, not men, the men wouldn't do them even if the servants were not there.  As modern women have generally found.

A woman who cares for her own house and raises her own children is not a servant, she is just looking after her own home and children.  Why do you consider this to be a bad thing?  You think most of the jobs that people do outside the home are any more amusing?  They're not, son, I can tell you. if a man can afford to support a wife so that she can stay at home and focus on her children and home life, and she likes doing that, she is not being a servant.

As for indulging sexual demands, I think that both partners should satisfy each other's sexual needs as much as possible.  Any man who does not think about his wife's sexual needs as well as his own is a selfish pig.  However, it is not necessary to be an 'anti-feminist' in order to be a selfish pig.  Plenty of men who pay lip-service to the idea of equality are capable of being extremely selfish.  You want to hang around the Marriage and Divorce section on here a bit.  you'll see selfish on there.

  17. Anti-feminist are against anti-male hatred and special rights and privileges for women that feminists always try to fight for.

  18. I don't think aristocracy is what they want so much as separate spheres in a few cases, or, in most, actual equality (which makes the term "anti-feminist" disingenuous, as they are actually paleofeminists). But meat is right when she says that they don't seem particularly interested in sharing the work.

  19. When you put it that way it don't sound bad lol.

  20. Not necessarily, as some anti-feminists fear that this "movement" in the post-modern era poses an egregious threat to western civilization and may lead to increased violence.  Some feel that this movement is a step in the wrong direction.  In 2008 AD, I don't see much inherent social disparity in westernized-countries between the genders.

  21. Sounds just like the perfect setup for some of our frequent flyers here who claim they want no special rights for women-but would like a woman to do their cooking cleaning and of course be their compliant s*x machine and pop out babies and care for them for the rest of their lives.

Of course-no divorce is allowed and if divorce did occur-only the men could initiate it and they would get partial custody-but they wouldn't have to pay anything for the care of their kids. Even though the woman has been a housewife and has no education-she will support herself and their children with no assistance of any kind.

Oh and we'll shut down all the battered women shelters and rape crisis lines since women aren't really battered or raped-only men are-and I guess these guys don't think they need any services for some reason. We can close the schools down too-that will save a ton of money. The women can teach their kids at home since they'll all be at home now-well except for the cast-off wives and kids and who cares about them?

  22. No, I just want them to stop their incessant complaining and shoving their hate-filled dogma down people's throats. I dislike aristocracy, and am in favor of the abolishment of monarchy.
