Are Argentinian degrees recognized in the U.S. and vise-versa?

I was planning on doing med-school over there and I was wondering if I could go to school there and come back to

work in the U.S. as a doctor

  1. Yes, but you'll need to complete ECFMG certification, complete an accredited US or Canadian residency program, get licensed in the state(s) in which you wish to practice, and complete immigration requirements (if you're not already a US citizen).

    There are more streamlined programs for med school graduates who have undergraduate degrees from US schools, eminent practitioners, and medical school faculty.
