  1. yes they are but the difference is arsenal are in a lot of debt so have to sell spurs never wanted to sell Keane or berbatov so now have a lot of money to reinvest

plus the money for possibly 4 players going to sunderland could be £80 million+

  2. [spurs now got money to burn......but who they gonna buy]

there still trying to get eto'o even though he said no lol

  3. The problem with these two clubs in my opinion is that they arnt 'great' clubs! They havnt won the champions league and I feel players look at these clubs as stepping stones to clubs like Real Madrid, Barca, Milan, Liverpool and Man Utd! If you look at those clubs, they have a great tradition!

  4. As a Spurs fan, we've always been a transfer wheeling and dealing club.  Sometimes we're a buying club, sometimes a selling club.  These days all premiership clubs deal heavily in the transfer market, but it's always been a tradition at Spurs.

  5. well i must admit you are right about one thing they did lose some good players but oh well not my club.

  6. no i wouldnt say so because they dont rely on selling their players to be financialy stable like Ajax or others.

  7. It had to come to and end sooner later

  8. spurs now got money to burn......but who they gonna buy

  9. Arsenal have only sold flamini and hleb. calm down on the selling club thing. least we have an excuse we have a stadium to pay. what do spurs have to say about deeling there players? haha nothin except there S**t.

  10. Spurs always have been a selling club,

Arsenal are fast becoming one unless they up the ante and pay better wages,

  11. some players are stolen off them though.

  12. I think Arsenal are more a selling team. They've sold some good players this season while only picking up younger, inexpensive, inexperienced players.  Tottenham has actually had a fairly even offseason.  They've picked up dos santos, and modric while keeping a lot of their main players.  Giving up Keane was a big decision but I don't think its a major loss.   Berbatov leaving would be a mistake.

  13. Seem to be. Mind you isn't every club if the money's good enough.
