This is the first year my school is not providing my instrument for me. What brands are the best for a student that is only playing for 1 year? I plan on buying from ebay. Thanks! =o)

  1. Artley is bad. Try for Selmer or Buffet or LeBlanc.

  2. Buffet B12 is a good choice, Leblanc makes a good student clarinet as well.  You could also get away with something like a Bundy, or Barrington, they are decent, and cheap, but usually don't last much longer than a year or two.

  3. Hi Jess

Artley make a good clarinet and inexpensive. If you go for Selmer and other top brand, you will pay the price.

You might want to check Buffet Crampon. They are very good clarinets and well known as well. go on ebay. That is your best bet for information and pricing.
