Do they contain any slaughter or fish by-products? I know they don't test anything on animals which is great but I was wondering about the ingredients in the products I mentioned above. Thanks for answering:-)

  1. You shouldnt eat them.

Vegetarians have strange morals, in that they wont wash their hair if the shampoo has cochineal in it (beetle derived), but will happly plough down a motorway at 70mph killing scores of insects on their windscreen!

Try Arbonne....their products are not tested on animals and don't use animal products or biproducts.  It an excellent company with VERY high quality products.....they make Avon look like something that someone cooked up in their garage.

Here is a message that my Arbonne provider sent me:

Arbonne's dedication to integrity also extends into the company's philosophy of helping to protect the Earth's precious natural resources. We are an active proponent of recyclable packaging, no animal testing or the use of animal products or by-products in our skin care products.

    They are:

    • Botanically-based: A proprietary blending of science and nature, based on herbal and botanical principles.

    • pH correct: Skin care pH of 5.5 ensures maximum benefit.

    • Hypoallergenic: Voluntary human testing meets hypoallergenic substantiation claim criteria.

    • Dermatologist tested: Voluntary human tests done under the watchful eye of an independent dermatologist.

    • Never tested on animals: Substantiation and safety testing is performed at independent laboratories on voluntary human panels.

    • Formulated without animal products or by-products: Plants and herbs together with science and technology offer superior benefits.

    • Formulated without mineral oil: Occlusive oil can interfere with skin functions as well as advanced delivery systems.

  3. I am sure, You are not going to swllow any of these.

There is no harm in using any thing if suits to your skin/ hair.

  4. no they dont

  5. Vegitarian can use any shampoo they like; vegans cannot.

  6. Avon's products are all Nature Friendly.......

  7. Being Vegetarian has nothing to do with what you put in your hair. Being Vegetarian just means that you don't eat animal products. It does not mean you do not use something from an animal.

  8. I know that years ago I found out that the INGREDIENTS used in making the products were tested on animals .....even though they claimed that 'their PRODUCTS was not tested on animals'. That was some years ago though ..... their policy may have changed.

Te best way is to contact the British Union for the Abolition of Vivisection because they are excellent.

  9. i think if you go to there website they have the label and testing info also try lush.com/usa its a great line of vegetarian friendly bath and body products they have an online store as well as stores around the country they have great products

  10. I would suggestthat you use Body Shop products as they guarantee to be suitable for vegans and vegitarians.

  11. I think some of them are. If I were you, I think I'd buy products like this from the Body Shop instead. None of their products have put an animal in danger. x
