  1. Yes, they are Protestants.

So are Anglicans(Episcopalians), Lutherans, Pentecostals, Methodists, Presbyterians, Church of Christ, Salvation Army, etc.

  2. gee chris they practice water baptism you know thats in that false gospel... now lets not kiss up to them for practicing that unbiblical act of baptism now that you say will take you to h**l now,,,,

  3. People that protest the Catholic church are protestants.

Not all non catholic denominations are protestant.

  4. If your not Catholic, then your considered "Protestant".

  5. Yes they are.

Ahhh, I had my suspicions that my buddy was a Baptist. Now I better understand the hatred!

  6. Technically, anyone who is not Catholic or Orthodox is Protestant.  Perhaps with a few minor exceptions like the LDS church for example.  Yes Baptists are a Protestant church.

  7. Baptists are not "protestants".  They are Bible-believers that trace back to the Book of Acts in 33 AD.

  8. Of course they are Protestants!!

Protestants are all those who have their origin in the reformation, churches that didn't exist before ant that are not cults.

Have a look at this: http://www.request.org.uk/main/churches/...

everything that originates after "Lutheran" in the 1500s is protestant.

Everything "Radical reformers", "Lutheran" and "Reformed" are protestants. And I think you can take everything "Methodist" as well.

  9. Technically no. The Baptist denomination came around AFTER the protestant denominations split from the catholic church.

  10. I guess. What do you mean by 'protestant'? Lots of people protest, you know.

  11. Baptist was established in 1609 by John Smyth in Amsterdam.

Perhaps they don't consider themselves to be protestant because they see it as negative

  12. Although Baptist were not formerly Roman Catholics who protested like Anglicans, Lutherans and Presbyterians, they were still considered as Protestant groups by many because they continually protested Roman Catholicism since their organization, together with the Adventists, Methodists and Pentecostals.

Surprisingly, it seems that Protestant groups have forgotten the history of how this false church mock Jesus and persecute Christians. Most of them are not protesting any more. They seem to get into living in harmony with the greatest antiChrist ever walked on earth.

  13. any christian denomination is considered protestant- a protestant is a non catholic follower of christ.
