Question:

Are Ben Spies and Matt Mladin really that good?

In AMA Superbike they beat the field by 15-30 seconds every race (almost). The other times Mladin usually has a bad start which happened yesterday. Could Eric Bostrom or Jamie Hacking (just to name a few) have these kind of results on the Yoshi Suzuki team? I know it is not only the bike but all the fans of the other manufactuers are really losing interest in this class.

  1. Yes, they are that good, and yes their bikes are that good too.  It's all part of the competition, and the reason why the manufacturer's, teams, and drivers all need to put out 150% effort to come out on top.

I love AMA superbike racing, and am a fan of several riders, but at heart I am a Honda girl, and I hope to see Jake or Miguel do better.

  2. Yes, they are that good! However, the bike is also the best out there. It is a shame the other manufacturers can't catch them.

BTW- the Jordan /Yates team is great right now, beating full on factory bikes! that should tell you a lot.

  3. They are good. Really good.

Its just a shame that Mladin never got back into Motogp to show the world HOW good he is.

Really, how many times do you have the win same championship?

  4. After talking to the other teams (honda/jordan) it is clear that those two ben and matt get their own tire from dunlop.

Yates is not running traction control so that shows you his talent. But when you have a totally diff. tire it is hard to keep up.

I will say that ben/matt ride very agressive and they are very good. However i would like to see them on a same tire as everyone else
