OK,what if I showed a picture of a beautiful blond to a tribe living in the Amazon Rain forest, would the natives instinctively be more turned on by the white blond than members of their own race?

  1. Blonde actually results from a mutation in the genes, so to dumb it down, blondes are mutated humans.

But beauty is subjective to cultural and societal norms. If anything, blondes would be seen as different, weird, ugly, strange, and perhaps something to be feared.

  2. Impossible to say without actually doing the actual research. I know that your statement is not universally accepted by the rest of the world. I, for one, find the color yellow to be absurd and inelegant as a hair color; wouldn't even even want it as a color for a car.

  3. I don't know if they are prettier but they certainly are seen first and that's a one up. . .

  4. My family is all Dutch, and growing up I never heard alot about blonde hair. It is true, most everyone in my family has it---a very white silvery color, but a few have light brown hair. Since so many people I know have it, it's like what is the big deal?

It's all about a face being beautiful. In Holland, Liya Kebede , a black model from Ethiopia is VERY popular. Everyone says she is so beautiful. Her features are all lined up the right way. I would also say that I think Linda Evangelista is beautiful too, Iman, Warsame, and some Swede models. It's all about the face. If the face is good, there is beauty. If the face looks bad, I don't care what color hair she's got. No one in my town thinks she looks good.

  5. Even in the west, not all men think blondes are wonderful. I know several men (one a  very handsome tv star) who don't notice them at all. My partner says he thinks they look bland or tarty.

  6. it depends where you are

for instance in the middle east blondes and red heds are prized

but in some african tribes it is considerd beautiful for a woman to have all her hair shaved off.

i think the western standard of beauty is far to often seen as the only standard that there is.

westerns ( both men and woman) project the image of beauty for a woman to be between 5'3 and 5'8 , very lean , high cheek bones, big eyes, full lips , soft long hair , a c/d cup b*****s and strong shoulders. all round a quite striking woman where as in most other parts of the world a small (under 5'0) demure more round woman is seen as beautiful.
