  1. Yes it is an agreed fact that the instances of accidents involving the blue line buses is on the increase. The law enforcing agencies cannot be blamed for this. The crux of the problem is the working conditions of the crew. The driver takes the steering as early as 4 am and is forced to drive non stop till late night. There is all chances of fatigue setting in. I afraid if they have enough rest. It is in best interest of all the the working conditions of driver and crew is improved to have more responsible drivers. No one takes the steering with aim to run over.

  2. yea i do believe that the buses are killing innocent people on the roads. i use the buses for everyday transport and am glad that i reach home everyday.

most of the buses are owned by ministers and high ranking police officials so most of the drivers consider themselves above the law. in most cases this is true.

the people who staff these "killerline" buses are underpaid and untrained. most of them are uneducated rural folk from adjoining areas of delhi.

  3. Yes I agree they are killing innocent people, But they are operated by powered governments and drivers being overworked.

  4. They should be handed over to Ministry of Transport. The drivers and conductors of DTC buses charge them or you can say ask them for money to make their trip peaceful (so that no DTC bus will be ahead or behind them). If they deny to pay the money the DTC bus will not let him to pick the passengers cause DTC bus will be following them and the drivers who hire the bus on a daily contract and are from poor family have to pay the money to the owner of the bus from their own pocket which they don't have. So they have no alternate left rather then to drive fast. What they can do??????????

  6. i think law enforcement problems is a major issue but the drivers are also being overworked

  7. These buses r operated by jaats of haryana. these jaats  do not care about public life but only profit.

  8. Yes 110% but people also they dont falow rule

  9. these buses shold be operated under special depatments created by ministry transport.

  10. these buses are being operated by big bosses on whom the govt has no control , or does not want to have control. they have deep rooted approach , money power as well as muscle power. if these will be banned , they will again emerge on the road as "yellow line" or "green line" as they have done before. they have switched from "white line" earlier to "blue line" at present with the same dubious performance.
