Are Bottom Freezer Amana Fridges Any Good?

I have recently started searching for a new refrigerator for my new kitchen, and I stumbled upon the Amana bottom mount fridge. It had the most beautiful exterior and the most spacious interior. Price is not a problem. I just wanted to check if Amana fridges are of good quality since they were bought by Maytag. Amana's history suggests that it is a rather trusted brand. I need a fridge that will last long.

Yes I have an Amana bottom freezer unit.  This is the 2nd one I have owned and I love the pull out drawer in this one.

Yes! I've got the french door style one and haven't had any problems. The freezer on the bottom makes more sense because it is less used.
