Yes they are but their venom is not usually fatal to humans, but there have been isolated fatalities. They are also a protected species and taking them from their habitat is a punishable offence, SO PLEASE LEAVE THEM ALONE!!!

they are definately poisonous and could even kill a child or someone with a weak disposition.

You can find them in scrubland as your first answer suggests and the best places are common land or moorland that is slightly overgrown, under large rocks and in long scrub where they seek the coolness.

your question is troublesome though, why would you want to know that they are poisonous and then ask where to find them?

yes they are venimous and it is illegal to pick them up if you are caught you could get a huge fine.

Yes they are and there are thousands around here. That's the Fens, in Suffolk.
