  1. Yes they are! Complere a******s, i'm an Aussie who travelled there and never felt more looked down, scum bags, we almost always beat them anyway, but like the snotty nosed spoilt kid down the road, whos mummy always wipes his pathetic nose, yes their a******s!

  2. There are racist people in every country in the world......it's  a bit of a 'pie in the sky' question.  Britain has extremely multicultural areas i.e London which depending on the exact location has either increased or reduced racism.

  3. No more so than any other group of people and less than most European and definitely less than Asians.

  4. Some are, some aren't.  Overall, I don't think the British are more racist than other nations.

  5. NO, just the same as any other country, we have a minority of idiots.

Many of these (general idiots) use a disguise of Burberry and tracksuits

  6. yes you are

  7. What has brought this on?

    Well said Steven T!

  8. Im not personally - I got invited to a zambian friends party with only white honky me there- and they treated me with respect.

But I have a friend who hates black africans as he worked with them in the 50s - every other word is ******.

And in Devon now there is a definite increase in not liking eastern europeans which are flooding the region.

  9. Humans are inherently racist, because we always tend to form groups and think better of those in the groups and worse of those outside.

But British people, as a whole, are less racist than people in many other countries.  This is for several reasons - we have a tradition of fairness, decency and compromise, and there are many cultures and races living here so most people grow up with enough exposure to other races to realise that, though different, they are not better or worse then other Britons

  10. yep generally  in this country people are rascist

  11. Probably less racist than most nationalities - we are a very mixed race nation, even the white ones.

  12. Maybe not any more than any other nation is racist but I would say we are more ignorant of other cultures because we don't need to be aware of them. This is due to globalisation and being most like in culture to the, arguably, most powerful country in the world, America. A good example of this can be seen in how we expect everyone to speak English but can't be bothered ourselves to learn another language to the same extent. If someone comes to Britain and they can speak English but speak to their friend in their own language you may well hear someone say to themselves "if you come to 'our' country speak English" but there's no way we'd be doing the same in someone else's country

  13. haven't we all a bit of racism in our minds? I have absolutely no problems with the colour of the skin, but some facial features I find not very attractive to say the least and that goes for black, white, yellow and what have you.

  14. Every nation has racists. Britain is one of the least racist and fascist countries I have been to.

  15. Good question.

I am a white skinned westerner,

Differences can threaten or completely remove the security of belonging to a common humanity.

However there are a number of people who are racist but I am not in a position to take responsibility for them and answer your question on their behalf.

racist means wanting, and excercising  power over another human being because of their race

  16. No! It's the people that move to Britain who are the racists.

  17. Judging an entire nation of people is racist.

And as answer to your question, no.  Some people in Britain are racist.  Some aren't.  Just like any other country.  You can't group a whole nation together.  There are plenty of Black and Asian British people too.

Personally I think there are countries in which the people are far more racist than the UK.  We're one of the least racist places in Europe.  A Nigerian colleague studied in France for a while and said the racism she experienced over there was unbelievable.  She says Britain is so much better and less racist in general.

Me Again - hmm thats funny you didn't beat us in the Ashes series 2005 now did you?!

  18. everybody can be racist, it's natural.

we try to be accommodating to people of other nations but some are compatible and some are not and it's the same all over the world.

if we liked everybody, we would live in a world of cheesy 'yes men'.

they like to call it racism and vilify us but is simply the way it is, there is no intent and there is no racist thought in the matter, it's simply that different cultures, do different things and one does not always like the other.

  19. Same as anywhere else, all countries have some that are racist and some that are not....

  20. No more so than most places,  Happens in reverse in some places,  South Africa for example.

  21. Not if your British.

  22. No more so than any other group of people.

  23. Yawn...you seem to have a chip on your shoulder.
