  1. I live in Burgundy and, thankfully, we are the only British people in our village. In fact, this area seems much more popular with the Germans (good news) and Dutch (even better news).  And the French.

    The expat sink estates are mainly in the Dordogne and Brittany.  Sad to go all that way to form your little England, isn't it?


  2. No. There are about 100,000 british people living permanently in France, so even if they stuck exclusively to the wine growing areas they would still be considerably outnumbered by the locals. :-)
