  1. you mean in england? there is a place that does recycle them..

    http://www.reuze.co.uk/cds.shtml

    and

    http://www.polymerrecycling.co.uk/

BUT if they are music etc.. give them to ya local charity shop if they are proper albums etc. or put them on freecycle..

  2. Take them to Blockbusters - they're asking for them for a charity cause.

  3. NOT BIODEGRADABLE! but you can recycle them. call up your city and ask if they collect them

  4. you can get a very thin pin and go over the old noughts and ones with a new song, try 'binary for dummies' and 'macro engraving, a complete guide' if you struggle. this can also lead to an intense hobby with many avid users blogging each other every month or two between chords.

  5. Not degradable

they make great party coasters for your party guest to set their beer on.

  6. Yes they are, although I have no idea where you get them done.

  7. they are generally made from makrolon, a polycarbonate material from bayer.  definitely not biodegradable.  possibly recyclable by melting them down and reprocessing the granulated plastic.

  8. yes go to your local recycling centre and ask them where you can recycle some.

    hope this helps!

  9. No, but they're a hoot if you stick them in a microwave oven.

  10. if they still work (like in really good condition) and they're music CDs try something like www.lala.com - it's great - you post the CDs you have and select ones you want. When someone wants one of yours they request it - the website sends you an email (along with some free/pre-paid shipping materials) and you send that person the CD. When you find you want you pay like 2 bucks for a new CD that you actually want.

    Pretty sweet deal.
