  1. They cannot tell him where you live. They also can't disclose any of your personal information to anyone else without your permission. A solicitor will do him no good with the CSA all they want from him is to know how much he earns. If you have 1 child together he'll have to pay you 15% of his take home pay. For 2 or more kids it 25%. If he ignores them or refuses to pay they'll do an attachment of earnings and get it straight from his employer before he sees it.

  2. No they won't but it's not going to be too difficult for him to work it out

    .

  3. Dont think so.. its called the Data Protection Act... pretty much it states that they can only give information out if you say so...

  4. No Data Protection Act 1998 - no firm in the country is allowed to share data without consent.

  5. no they send forms to the exs to fill in & speak to them on the phone

let them know the facts & consequences & they will act accordingly

    good luck

  6. Hi,  The CSA are not allowed to disclose information to your ex because of the Data Protection Act.  I work for Job Centre Plus and deal with the CSA on a daily basis.  When somebody makes a claim to any benefit and there is a child with a non resident parent, general information is gathered regarding them, i.e. name, last known address, telephone number, date of birth, employers name & address, if they are receiving any benefits themselves.  The last question 'Is there any further information', at this point you are told that only information given in answer to this question  maybe disclosed to the non resident parent.  All your personal details, such as address, area you live in etc and totally confidential.

If there is a child with a non resident parent, that non resident parent needs to pay towards the cost of bringing up that child.  They have a responsibility and duty to do so, even if they do not see the child.

Hope this helps to soothe your anxiety.

    Good luck.

  7. No, they're not allowed to but you should tell them he is violent.

  8. no they wont, i am in the same position, and if anything went to court, the judge will tell his solicitor not to disclose your address! good luck x

  9. the csa are really good when it comes to discretion. they won't disclose anything considering the history between you and your ex. don't worry about it.
