Are Cal grants only for use with Universities, can I get $ for going to a community college?

As a community college, you are able to get 2 different grants. The first grant is a Pell Grant aka federal grant. You may get up approx. $4,400/schoolyear. In addition, you can also appy for a Cal Grant (yes, even community college students can get them). You will get up approx $1,400/schoolyear.

You also have a great benefit as a CC student. You may be eligible for a fee waiver. This means that your tuition is paid! This is offered to ALL community colleges.
