Are Canadians excused in the Illinois tollway?

It was my first time driving in Illinois... long story short... We dont have tolllgates in Canada.

  1. We do have a few tollgates in Canada - not as many as in the US, but we have them in Nova Scotia and in New Brusnwick and in Ontario and probably in other places as well.  Yes, Canadians have to pay the tolls in Illinois and elsewhere in the US.
