  1. Oh yeah!  They have excursions of all prices, so no matter how much money you have (or don't have) you can find something to do.  Plus if you are really on a tight budget - stay on board when you get to any ports and just play in the jacuzzi.   The food is so great! And there are all kinds of food to enjoy!

  2. OMG! Very nice! You can get good rates on www.wiitravel.com or www.findvacationsonline.com too because they book tons of trips with Carnival and get upgrades for their clients.

  3. If you are going for the first time certainly.   Some lines cater to the upper crust a bit more and you pay for it too.   Carnival is fine.   The ships are clean and safe.  The food is aplenty.  They offer all of the side trips.   They have the zillion of activites for everyone to partake.   They have a reasonable price, so go for it.

  4. I cruised the Carnival Triumph last year, on the Eastern Carribean Cruise and then on the Western Carribean Cruise, and they were fantastic.

The food was lovely, especially in the main dining rooms at evening times. The 24 hour pizza parlour was great, and you could order a whole pizza, some garlic bread or just a slice of your favourite. The food could not be faulted in fact.

The cabin was spacious for the four of us. My parents had a double bed, my brother had a normal single bed, and had a bunk, which was reasonably comfortable too. We had an outside cabin, which looked onto the sea which was lovely when you arrived at your ports of call.

There are enough activities to please everyone and anyone. For the younger guests, the Carnival kids clubs are great, from toddlers all the way to teenagers like myself. There are shows, discos, bingo calling, gambling rooms, piano clubs.... etc. There is basically everything you need.

Leisure and sports included basketball, golf, swimming pools, running tracks, and a long water slide, and thats all onboard!!!!

When it comes to the excursions there are even more things to do.

Overall it was a truly wonderful holiday, and i would love to go again.

I hope you have a great time too...

  5. We just got back from a Thanksgiving cruise to Mexico on Carnival ship Elation. It was fabulous! Staff was wonderful, food was great and the cabin was bigger then I thought it would be!

  6. We were on one a few years ago. It is a night life and we go to bed early so we didn't do most of the stuff on the ship, also we didn't go with anyone we know, we might try again but with other. My sister-in-law is going on her 3rd cruises this year next week she loves it. I guess to each his own. Try to get a few friends to go with you and I think for a first timer you may enjoy it.

  7. I have been on 6, with my 7th  in 83 days. I have found them wonderful, whether I'm traveling with or without my kids. The rooms are nicer than RCCL and I found the food superior. Thankfully we have never encountered any problems .
