  1. My cat drank it for almost 20 years, small sips of it though, but  she loved it so much she meowed loudly till she got some. She even knew milk containers by sight

  2. A lot, but not all, cats are lactose intolerant.

    Yours certainly is.

It is an old wives tale that cats need milk, whether it be cows, goats or kitty milk. She is certainly not 'missing out' by not being able to tolerate it so dont worry but DONT give her milk again.

  3. Cats cant drink cows milk.  There is milk for cats made by Whiskas that you can give to your cat.  Try Walmart.

  4. Yes they are you can give some to them maybe like a handfull but yes they are

  5. From what I understand, a lot of cats are lactose intolerant and can't handle cow's milk. That is why they sell special cat's milk at the store as a treat that you can give to your cat.

Some cats can tolerate cow's milk but, the milk should always be watered down. Half milk/half water.

If your cat develops an upset stomach after drinking milk, then you shouldn't give it to her anymore. You might want to try the cat's milk at the store if you would like to give her some.

  6. That's because cats ARE lactose intolerant.

I find it a bit disturbing that you'd continue to give her milk when she has such a bad reaction to it.  Since you have an internet connection you could have Googled this question the FIRST time she got sick, had an answer in seconds and spared your cat the agony!
