I hav a kitten and a dog and i wanted to see what you people think is better. My friend thinks tht dogs r better cause cats don't fetch things and all they do is sit around the house and p**p everywhere. Personally I think cats r better (kittens anyway) because they are very playful and energetic and fun to hav around.

  1. A dog will let you know when someone comes around and a cat will never do that! A dog may protect you when a cat will just run up a tree and hide!

  2. dogs

  3. My friend thinks tht dogs r better cause cats don't fetch things and all they do is sit around the house and p**p everywhere

Go to youtube, and search "Cats doing Tricks"

  4. LOL dogs are known to be humans best friend cats are known to feed me shelter me then bye bye

  5. dogs are way more fun to play with.

    they are also cuter.

  6. Dogs by far. You can play with them and they are always fun to have around. Cats just do their own thing and are independant.

  7. cats rule one there quieter two some will sing and my cat is out active all day

  8. Dogs! Hands down

  9. DOGS r better. Dogs r more energetic then any cat or kitten will be. Puppies  really playful. I used to have a beagle and he was the most playful puppy i have seen. =) So dogs r better. =)

  10. well i think that kittens are very cute and fun but when they get older they get smart and hide all day and only come out when they want food but dogs on the other hand will stick to your side at all times.

  11. g*y people`

  12. i actually have a kitten, cat, and three dogs. my kitten was very energetic when she was a kitten. i do prefer dogs over cats and puppies over kitten.

  13. Dogs for sure because they could protect you while a cat won't. I also heard that if you suddenly die, a dog would bark and howl untill someone comes, while a cat would'nt do anything until it gets hungry, then it starts to EAT you D= .

  14. The answer is mostly due to opinion. But I agree with your friend that dogs are better. They are after all, man's best friend. They are also fun loving and energetic. And they are a lot more useful too.

  15. Well, I prefer dogs, because they're loyal, and great friends, and you can actually walk with them or run with them.

Cats are great because they're energetic (sometimes), if you have mice, and the cat is a good mouser, then there's another good thing about 'em. Cats may be a little cleaner than dog, though they dislike water (another downer) and have sharp claws, and teeth that they generally use when you annoy them too much.

Dogs are great because they are loyal, (depending on the type, i.e. a "dawg" or a "lap dog") they will either defend you and what you own, and hate your foes with a passion, or eat your slippers, sleep on your lap, bite the hands that feeds them, and l**k the one that steals from them.

I personally prefer BIG dawgs. Huntin' dogs, retrieving dogs, etc.

  16. Defenatly dogs. U can do more with a dog. Cats just lay around all day and don't do anything.

  17. i say dogs cause they are always happy and playful

but cats can get snooty and some dont like to be held

but with dogs they love to be cuddled with

  18. It's not a question of which one is "better". Both are good. It's matter of which kind of pet is suited to which person. I like both. But I do cats much better. They are more independent. They are very affectionate and seek attention a lot. But they are self sufficient (our three are kept indoors). As long as they have food out, and a place to do their business, they are happy as clams. When we go out of town, we have a friend come over and put food out and they are fine. If we had dogs we would have to board them (at considerable expense). In my point of view, dogs are too "needy"....they have to be right by your side at all times and they require a lot more attention, including regular walks (in all kinds of weather).

  19. They both are very good in their own way.  My old roommates cat fetches straws.  She loves them and will wake her mother at three in the morning so she can throw it.  She loves it, so it is not true that cats do not fetch.

They are more independent than dogs.  Some cats are a one person kitty.  Some love to be held and some would rather be admired from a distance.  They are very energetic and playful as kittens and even at times as adults.  They purr.

Dogs are very loyal and faithful and love you unconditionally.  Some dogs are very good watch dogs.  They have an abundance of energy, especially when a puppy.  Some can be lap dogs, some want to be around everyone at all times.  Some love to play outside.

They are both good in their own way and it would be hard to choose.  I chose a cat because I didn't have a fence for a dog.  This cat has been a challenge to me.  I have never seen a cat like mine.  He eats absolutely anything he can get his mouth on, from curtains, blankets, throw pillows, newspapers, rugs, even tries to chew on the fridge.

He likes to bite too.  So, some cats can be mean and bite just like dogs.  It depends on the personality of the animal.  Mine has been sick and sick and sick and he probably is that way because of all the things he has been through.  He has a virus and he has or had heart worms, they can't tell me for sure.  When he was a kitten I had to give him medicine so I bought the food I could dissolve it in and it wound up being that poisoned food.  He has been sick because of eating things he shouldn't.  That cat has been to the vet more times than I can count.  He is now limited to some areas of the house.

You never know what you are going to get when you get one, but most of the time, you will be happy with either or both.

May your kitty and your dog have many happy years.

  20. dogs

  21. Depends on your preferences:

    DISADVANTAGE OF CATS:

Smelly room where the litter box is

    Spraying

    Easy to contract UTIs

    ADVANTAGES OF CATS:

    Affectionate

    Quiet

Don't have to let them out every few hours

    They don't jump on guests

    DISADVANTAGES OF DOGS:

Mess in the house if you can't let them out in time

    Annoying barking

    Shedding

    Common injuries from being outside

    They bring in fleas

    Butt leakage

    ADVANTAGES OF DOGS:

    Friendly and sometimes obedient

    Play games

    Trainable to make life easier

    Can assist physically challenged people

Personally, I prefer cats, because they're a smaller animal, they're quiet, very affectionate and I don't have to let them out.

  22. It's dogs that p**p everywhere.  Honestly, they p**p everywhere.  Cats p**p in their litter box.

My cat used to fetch and talk, my dog was just a plain idiot, that pooped everywhere.
