  1. As other have pointed out - Caucasians are not yet the minority (in number). But, when people speak about majority and minority is directly related to the power and control that group has over it's own society. So, even if Hispanics will eventually outnumber both Caucasians and African American they may or may not become a majority. It will depend entirely on the amount of influence and authority they will hold in the country.

  8. According to the 2000 census, Caucasians make up 75% of the US population followed by Hispanics at approx. 12.5%.
