  1. I am in the R1B haplogroup, my father knows his heritage as a Turk as far as he knows and most likely my ancestors migrated to Anatolia with Seljuk Turks, my last name is OguzTurk, in Turkey 30% of people is R1B and 35% of Uighur Turks and around 20% of Turkmens, Ozbeks, Kirghiz are in this group. Also most Celtic people are in this group as well as well as Turks in Central Asia under various subgroups of haplogroups K. There is no diverse region of haplogroups in the world like Central Asia but all the haplogroups of the people in Central Asia  and most of the people in Europe and Eurasia including Turkey are subgroups of Central Asian haplogroup K.

Celts migrated to Europe through ancient Turkey and Eurasian steppes from Caucauses and Central Asia. Ancient Central Asian Turks later used the same way to migrate west but different times than Celts but sourced from the same origin.

Nearly 75% of Turkish people in Turkey have Central Asian originated haplogroups and I hope this answers the question and ends the false claims and genetic discussion about Turks and this also strongly proves the genetic relation of Turks(R1A+R1B+K+L+N+J2) with Celts(R1B) as well as Slavs(R1A).

  2. No, unless you mean Teutonic.

  3. There could be modern Turks descended from the ancient Galatians who were Celtic immigrants who settled in Asia Minor in the Hellenistic era but also there could be a more distant descendant sinc eit is possible that the Turks during their migrations westwards picked up IE / Causcasiod genes from intermarriage with the Sodgians and Tocharians of Central Asia?
