  1. considering they had the most medals in china ever for the first time i would say no.biased judges should be shot

  2. Chances are good.  They will just be getting better and better in sports overall.

  3. It's possible, although i do believe they had a bit of an edge because they were the host country. it's easier for communist countries to do well in sports because the government forces their athletes to be dedicated and to work hard (remember how the Soviet Union used to dominate?)

  4. yes, they only care about winners thus care only about golds! as long as they win 40 golds and have a total medal tally of 40, then they will rank 1st and win the olympics like they did 2008 olympics!

  5. heck no! go USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. From a purely statistical point of view, probably China again. Judging from their rapid increase in Gold medals and total medals haul, they are likely to do well in London.

    Year------Gold------Total

    1988--------5----------28

    1996-------16---------54

    2000-------28---------59

    2004-------32---------63

    2008-------51--------100

  7. Yes China will be better in 2012 they are getting into sports they never have before like swimming and track and field and rowing.  Its a new china now putting millions into sports and training kids as young as 2 years of age 6 days a week 6 hours a day. China will be on top for at least 40 years.

  8. Nop, since they wont get medals in gymnastics and other judging sports in future olympics

  9. China has 1/5 of the worlds population. They should win more simply based on the math. With a talent pool of 1.3 billion people they should be able to have a starting line up in Basketball with all 7 footers.

  10. Fishing.
