  1. As far as being healthy goes, you can't call either cigarettes or cigars healthy!! Lets just operate with degrees of damagin effect.

From the smokers point of view, and all other factors aside, a cigar is less damaging, because you don't inhale cigar-smoke. You just taste it, which of course is better.

    BUT but but ..

The cigarsmoke pollutes the air by a factor of 8 times that of a cigarette - and people in the room will inhale the polluted air. So taking all factors into account, a lit cigar is more damaging to be around than a lit cigarette.

    - unless you smoke the cigar outdoors, then it may again be less damaging, that a cigarette smoked outdoors.

  2. YES.  You don't inhale the tobacco of a cigar+no additives(but there are also many other natural cigarettes out there). A traditional cigar is made with 100% whole leaf tobacco nothing else.

  3. no

  4. It may be more natural, but I think it's just as bad. I'm a smoker (cigarettes) for the last 25 years, so I'm not just slamming cigars, I'm sure any doctor would say they're bad.

  5. Cigars are generally healthier, as you do not inhale them, and the tobacco is usually pretty pure.

Of course, cigars also have a lot more tobacco, so stick by stick they are worse, but where people may smoke dozens of cigarettes a day, most cigar smokers may have only a handful, if that.

  6. no,   both elements are processed with chemicals for preservation of the product.

anything with a shelf life has chemicals in it to keep it from spoiling in any form.

  7. Cigars are somewhat less dangerous because you don't inhale them, also because you're less likely to smoke as much. Natural has nothing to do with it -- tobacco is bad for you, period.

  8. Sadly, no. Cigars because the smoke is held in the mouth and not inhaled is more prone to mouth cancer rather than lung...but it still contains carcinogens none the less.
