  1. I only have canvas ones and they're not made from animals.

but i think u can get suede and leather ones depending on the shoe.

  2. I would agree with the user who said contact Converse directly, but I don't think they are animal derived....

There is a vegan shoe store in my area that sells "converse-like" shoes I overheard some other shoppers talking about  what wasn't vegan about brand name converse... they are a shop that promotes vegan but also no human sweat shop products, and the faux Converse were in place of sweat shop made, not non vegan... a totally separate but highly important as well concern.

  3. Converse are owned by Nike now and made in China so I don't recommend that you buy them.

  4. the rubber soles, adhesives and the aglets (those plastic coverings on the shoe laces) may have compounds derived from animal sources....

just kidding... but they may or may not.. better to ask Converse directly I think

  5. No, the canvas Converse are free of animal products.  I know some vegans who won't wear them since they were acquired by Nike, but that's a different issue.

  6. Hmmmmmmmm

  7. i hope not!

  8. The may be canvas or rubber, but they are glued with glues rendered from cattle and horses that dropped dead from starvation or decease, then picked up and boiled down by the local rendering works before being sent to the main glue processor.
