Are Criss Angel's teeth filed flat across like that for his magic tricks?

Its clear that he doesn't smile in any pictures because of this. That perfectly flat horizon line of his teeth is so obviously fake, it has to serve some purpose. Can a magician confirm or deny that this would help in some of the illusions that he performs?

probably for help in holding things in his mouth like coins between his teeth and such but it would be hard to say....i have noticed that he has sort of a lisp....could be from the teeth filing maybe?
