Are Crossfire and MTX related at all?

My husband's Crossfire system was stolen out of his car last month, and our insurance told me that MTX was the same as Crossfire and they wanted to give him MTX instead because it would be quicker than waiting for the Crossfire stuff to be ordered. I've tried to search to see if that's true, and I can't find anything. I think I will just tell them that we want the Crossfire system replaced with Crossfire...my husband is out to sea so they have to work with me and I don't know much about this stuff.

  1. Crossfire is better than MTX i believe...  Insurance companies always s******g people over... :(


  2. Crossfire and MTX are two different companies to my understanding.  MTX being owned by Mitek. who also owns Xtant and Coustic.
