  1. You can't deny that Texans are alot more weather wise than Yankees-- Lance Berkman  had the sense to get out of the lightning -more than you can say for the chub fans!!!

  2. In a way I was hoping they'd win because I have Dempster on my fantasy team, but even if they did I don't think Demp would get the win.

  3. It seems to me that Cubs fans on Y!A are just angry in general.  Instead of appreciating a good season, they are preoccupied with the White Sox for some reason.   For every question/answer about the Cubs, there's 10 bashing the White Sox.  They'd rather talk about Ozzie Guillen than their team.

  4. The fact that the umpires let the game continue after the first delay is stupid.

I bet that if the cubs were leading 2-0 during the first delay, the game would have been called and they wouldnt have played again last nite. But the umpires had to give the stupid cubs another chance to try and win and put everyone there in danger.

Those umpires should be fined and/or suspended.

And to the idiot who said berkman was being stupid by running into the dugout after the close lighting strike; standing in an open field during a lightning storm is a very BAD idea... so berkman did the right thing.

  5. WAAAAAAAAAAA   WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA  WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA       Get over it...........

Madcappla:  It's b/c they are jealous.

Kevin M: I'm not a beaner so thats impossible.    Sounds like you didnt get over it from last night loss

  6. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Astros had TWO more outs then the Cubs.

That is cheating the Astros should be suspended and fired.

so yea u can say im angery

we would have scored 2 in the 8 and 1 in the ninth

  7. The Cubs did not lose the game last night...it was given to Houston by the fascist umpires as part of Bud Selig's covert operation to bring an NL Central title to Milwaukee. It's actually a conspiracy because the 'Stros (hmmm...that sounds like a good name for beer) sissy first baseman wouldn't man up and stay on the field. What so you expect from a guy who wears eye liner?

But to answer your question, no, I'm not angry. This kind of thing happens and we'll deal with it.

  8. I imagine they aren't too happy, but when it comes to Mother Nature...they have to get over it and kick butt tonight.

  9. would you have rather if all of them got struck by lightning and everyone was hurt. There were tornado sirens going off and then it was a really bad storms. It was terrible. Then when it comes the 8th inning there were more storms again and they were worse and worse i thought there was going to be an actual tornado because it was bad. There lucky that they called the game i think cubs fans should be angry but even ryan dempster said it was time for it to be called.

  10. its part of the game, the cards lost a couple games this year due to rescheduling games even when they had a 5+ run lead.  So boo hoo cubs fans you lose a game.  The astros had two more outs, but they had the 2 runs extremely early on, its part of the game get over it you babies.

  11. Frosty, no Cubs fans are whinning about this, so who are you calling babies.

Madcappla, I think you're a little mistaken here.  Take a look at the Cubs and White Sox questions on here.  I think you'll find that your sadly mistaken because it's the White Sox fans that are answering Cubs questions.  So basically you've got things back asswards.  Typical Sox fan, trying to pawn it off on Cubs fans when your fans are to blame more then anyone else.  Cubs fans are more worried about teams in their own division, unlike the White Sox fans who start it up with Cubs fans simply because they don't have a rivalry of their own like the Cubs and Cards have.

To answer the question, no I'm not upset.  It's part of the game and weather is uncontrollable.  They've got to get passed that game and get back on the field today and win.
