I've been noticing that there have been less and less of them in stores, what's the deal? Why are the only DLP TV's in stores the really big ones and there's only one or two of them?

  1. The reduction of prices and improvement in quality of LCD and plasma TV has gotten to the point where DLP cannot compete except for the largest screen sizes.  The flat panel TVs have better, brighter pictures with wider viewing angles, and "thin is in".  The main advantage DLP rear projectors had was price, but that has changed.    DLP is still a strong competitor in front projectors.

  2. Yeah because they are too big and  LCDs Plasmas are Better and lighter and thinner TVs are coming like OLEDs which might be the Next big thing.

  3. DLP is bad quality in comparison with plasma and LCD. If it wasn't for the large screen sizes DLP's wouldn't be on the market
