  4. Okay, well everyone else seems to think that they can, but I saw a live game from the Women's European Champion's League 30 minutes ago, and it said the Libero couldn't serve. Maybe it's different in the States from Europe?

  5. yes. they couldnt before.

but this year they made a change.

    they can serve.

  6. yea they can but they can only serve for one person so they can serve for spot 2 and they would have to wait for the 2 spot to serve again

  7. yes.

but only once in the rotation.

like if they serve, then make it to the front row,and go out- they must wait for the front row player coming to the back, to serve and lose it before they can sub in for them.

  8. Yes starting this year for ages 13 and up only though (depends on state/ leauge ect) only in certain leauges can club liberos serve

  9. They recently changed the rules.  Libreros can serve now.

  10. The Libero can serve in one position in the lineup in NFSHSA and NCAA rules.  That covers junior high school, high school and women's college rules.  This is the first year for the junior high and high school.  It is either the second or third year for women's college.

They may not serve in USAV club volleyball or FIVB international volleyball.

  11. Yes,

But as far as i know right now it is only at the college level, not so much the high school or club level. the libro can serve as long as he or she is sub 'ed to the serving position.

  12. yes. i think this is a new thing, is it not? i think liberos used to not be able to serve, but i was watching UT and their libero served the other night, so i believe you can.

  13. in middle school, high school and college ball, yes, the Libero can serve.  Though they cant serve in club ball.  (as far as I know)
