Are Dell Deals Always Good?

Question

the dell deals that run until august 29 look very pleasing. There is an xps 420 that was 1090 selling for 899 (291 off). I need to put the money together to buy a new computer and I dont want to rush my purchase, but I'm concerned dell ill never have a deal like that again. does dell have great deals on XPS's and other good computers all the time or is this a rarity? am I okay waiting? should I find a similar deal?

YES! You are absolutly ok with waiting. Doing your research and having patience can save you hundreds of dollars and years of stress from buying a computer that isn't right for you. Heres what I recommend...

Unless they are on sale, Dells are generally good computers priced like they are fantastic computers. What I would do if I was you, do some internet research and decide what exactly you want from your new computer. Once you have a general idea, go into your local computer place and tell them what you want. See what they have to offer you. Write down prices, and listen to their advice, they usually know what they are talking about. Combine this new information and see where you are.

One thing that alot of people don't thin about is the extra "stuff" you generally want with your computer. This includeds anti-virus software, microsoft office, games, a better mouse or keyboard, flashdrives, etc. I work in a retail chain, and what I tell people is to find a computer they like, and then plan on spending another 100-200 dollars on extras.
