pretty much. libs want to show their constituents how bad the current administration is and will seize on a natural disaster to blame on the republicans.

i can hear Obama now criticizing Bush for Gustav singling out black communities or some thing like that.

The storm is pretty strong and can uproot people yet again in just three years, and in the process maybe the Republican convention and the party itself later in November!

It shows how much these hypocrites really care about New Orleans as well as victims of natural disasters. They're despicable and mentally warped. They prove that they have no compassion for anyone, just a desperate hope to get back in the White House.

I'm not from the USA but let me say that this is the dumbest question I have seen in Yahoo.

They would loose the election by doing so.

And Bush has a very long list of wrong doing to be blamed for, New Orleans two years ago figures in the list.  Wars, recession, terrible foreign policies, inflation and may others are to be blamed on the current administration. No need to speculate on a catastrophe, they are not stupid.

Well I wasn't hoping for that...but now that you bring it up...I think we can safely say that Bush will s***w it up...  Hopefully everyone will be evacuated in time before Bush and his cronies come to 'save' them..
