There's good sides and bad sides to both, I guess. There's good and bad people in both parties. The US has intelligent Republicans, intelligent Democrats, and there's complete morons in both parties. Yet Democrats made civil rights happen, they support minorities, they made the US economy and foreign affairs quite good before Bush screwed it up. I think they want to advance instead of going backward as well.

If it wasn't for Democrats, the USA would be a third world banana republic so you bet they are better than the treasonous America hating Republicans.

Democrats get a majority and working people get a higher minimum wage and our veterans get better benefits.  Repugs get power and rich get tax breaks and oil companies get subsidies and record profits, the rest of us get war, debt and inflation.

No, years ago they were for the people.  They never raised taxes... they fought for the rights of the people.  

Now they are the ones that have taxed the people, assisted in raising gas prices and every other commodity.  They blame Bush for this; but, the jobs started going overseas under the Clinton administration; not the Bush administration.
