In dhonis last 12 innings hes had scores of 0, 11, 2, 35, 19, 38, 16, 20, 16, 14, 52 and 32.

So Dhoni has been averaging less than 22, in his last 12 innings. That is pathetic, considering indias Fab 5 have all been averaging over 44, in there last 12 innings.

Sehwag has been averaging 72 in his last 12 innings

Dravid has been averaging 46 in his last 12 innings

Sachin has been averaging 63 in his last 12 innings

Ganguly has been averaging 44 in his last 12 innings

Laxman has been averaging 48 in his last 12 innings

  1. No doubt about it.

I think he is not alone; he has the backing up of pawar and the rest of selectors.

  2. Dhoni is a good batsmen.  He's just not in great form.  He had a decent ipl though.  He's not the prototypical test batsman.  But he's definitely India's best wicketkeeper batsman.

As for Jaffer, he is a failure. He's gotten way to many chances, and he's already 30 years old, it's time for them to look for new opener.

As for the fab 5, I think that there is a place for them.  Sehwag should definately continue opening, and Tendulkar is still one of the best.  Ganguly and Dravid have shown that they are more than capable.  Laxman however seems to be at the twilight of his career.

  3. yes

  4. While I agree that the battering average of Dhoni of late has been poor, I feel that it is due to the fact that he has not been at his best as he is capable of performing much better.  He is such a batsman, who is capable of switching gear depending upon the requirement of the team.Dinesh Karthik had his chance, but could not cement his place in the side.

  5. I feel so,yeah...
