Are EV'S (Electric Vehicles) Good in Winter?

When they put salt on the road in winter would that hurt the batteries or motor?

Salt shouldn't hurt them  more than any other car engine.  At cold temperatures, batteries don't work as well though, so if you are in a really cold area you will lose some efficiency during the cold months.

It's not like the parts are zip tied to the car, with the wires all exposed, they have good old engineered obsolesce brand  plastic to cover and protect them. Just like their combustible cousins.
