YES! I even had someone steal my password to paypal (someone I knew) and because of the protection that paypal offers, I was able to get my money back!!! I trust ebay and paypal!!  You will get spam/scam emails that look like they are from ebay/paypal. . . just be careful not to provide any information.  If you get those emails, logout of your email and log into either ebay or paypal and see if what the email says is true before you react or respond!

yes i been a user of both for about 8 yrs and i never have a problem you just have to becareful becuase some times you recibe fake emails like from ebay or paypal and there not asking for you id and passwords .you should never answer any email from paypal or ebay when ask for password they are fake they already have that info so why would they ask for it other then that its safe.

Paypal is very safe to use.  Ebay is typically safe as well.  There may be a rare ocassion that you may buy something from a non-reputable person, but usually, you can review their profile before buying from them.  I use both Paypal and Ebay and have never had any problems.

Mostly. I would be careful though because some of the people can cheat you. I bought something from someone in October and I just got my refund a few days ago. Be careful. Most sellers are trustworthy though.

For ebay do a research abt the seller b4 buying anything . If he is having enough positive feedbacks or not.

Well for some of the small products i prefer ebay, but for more big and expensive items, i personnally donot prefer to go with ebay.

& for paypal , they r 100% safe. Sometimes their extra high security sucks me...

Paypal is VERY safe to use.

Ebay is too but you have to be careful, there are sellers that sell counterfeit items.

I have been using both for a year now without any problems.  Paypal is better than using a charge card.  It's afer.

Very. Keep your paypal and ebay passwords to yourself, and there will be no problems. The websites employ very good security. I have done over 100 transactions with no problems, and 99% of the people on there are there to help.

Make sure you read auctions fully before you bid, and don't leave negative feedback. Negative feedback is only acceptable if weeks have passed with no resolution to a problem and the other member is clearly not willing to work with you. If you failed to read something on an auction page and you are mad about it, negative feedback is not acceptable. Read carefully. Expect an auction item that is sold "as-is" to be broken. Read seller feedback before you bid.

No problem with Paypal. With eBay though, you just have to look out for sellers. Check their feedback.

I use them together, when I win something on EBay, I pay threw Paypal...and because of this, if the item that I won from EBay doesn't show up, then I let Paypal do it's thing and get my money back.  Just make sure they accept Paypal...the ones that don't make me a little uneasy.  I've used them for years now, I like them both.

So in my opinion, I do believe they are safe.

Absolutely!  I've been buying and selling for 6 years now and have never had a problem.  You have to look at the seller's feedback though....never buy from someone with less than a 98.6% positive rating.
