Are Egypt and Gaza at peace?

so what's up with Egypts and Gaza's relationship, are they having some conflicts? what's going on if they are, why, what caused this feud?'

the conflict is between Fat-h and Hamas  .

both are Palestinian parties , each has a different strategy in the conflict with Israel.

Egypt is outside this .

but Gaza is isolated by the Palestinian authorities .

and Gaza has borders with Egypt .

so the people of Gaza want to cross this border .

it happened once , but many men and women just drifted into Egypt .

some men were caught deep in Egypt , and with arms .

also, Egyptian men and women went to Gaza , some are still there .

we already have security problems , so we want such crossings to be under control .

that's all.

we are friendly with the Palestinians , it 's this issue of border that has resulted in problems .

because Gaza is NOT an independent state

and yes we are at peace

what you are talking about is inner conflict between Palestinians and Egypt supports Abbas as the legitimate power over Palestine. so dealing with leaders of Hamas who took over Gaza will be considered some kind of political recognition of them as an independent state. and this will hurt Palestine and crediblity of Hamas itself.

so the point is Egypt is working hard to make both sides views closer in order to reach for a National reconciliation agreement that grantees the unity of Palestinians.

Yes, we are at peace with the Palestinians. egypt is the peace negotiator in the Israeli/Palestinian conflict.

Gazans tried many times to invade egypt and raise the Palestinian flags on many Egyptian governmental buildings which is an insult for us Egyptians and killed many Egyptian border forces soldiers.

they also threatening all the time to do that again and again.

gaza not country to ask...it is just philistinian land,,hamas want to govern it alone it is thir problem only we try to repair between hamas and fath only foraffairs of all philistines,and to be one hand against thir enemy

Egyptians and palestinians are sure in peace , it's always the arabs countries presidents that complicate peoples' relationship with each others for their own and for their masters benefit .
