  1. I don't think so.

    They just have dark skin

  2. I say they were people of color.  Obviously!  Dark rich skin....the only thing that matters not is their actual race!  Look at all that they accomplished!  Marvelous...whatever race they were!  Doesn't matter!

  3. they are Caucasian like other north africans they would be black egyptians in the south because because the south of egypt is near the sudanese border

  4. No, that is just a serious misconception. Most Egyptians are Muslims.

  5. No, most Egyptians are not 'black', but they are dark skinned,

Nubians from the Sudan can be quite black.

So you can say that you are both correct !

  6. They are a mixture of Black and Caucasian.  Some appear Black and others Caucasian.  Egypt was conquered by many groups of people, from Black Nubian to Caucasian.  They mixed and unfortunately forced themselves upon their conquests.  Because Egypt was an advanced ancient civilization, Euro centric anthropologists and archaeologists have tried to claim that Egyptians have always been Caucasian. Don't believe the hype.

  7. Now? Mostly no. In the past? Definitely black.  Which means that probably most, if not all, have black ancestors.

  8. most aren't. About 90% Arab.

  9. No, they aren't. That isn't my thoughts. It's fact.

  10. Egyptians, like other North Africans, are Caucasian.

PS - To the answerer who claims Egyptians were black long ago: Look at the artwork (paintings, busts, etc.) from ancient Egypt -- all those figures were not painted with light skin by mistake.

  11. No they are not although they do have the same as every country a black section within the population.
