(It says Custom Gauge on the package)

I got two pairs of these, and put a set on each of my guitars. They both have fret buzz and I think that it is a weird coincidence. Are these thicker than normal strings? Can they be the cause of this fret buzz?

  1. yes of course every different kind of string will

have a diff effect on ur guitar

  2. It depends on what guage you used before hand. It's usually a good idea to get an adjustment when you're changing guages of strings on your guitar.

The fret buzzing means that the strings are thicker than the previous strings and they are now hitting the frets. Your frets need to be filed down and the problem will be fixed (that's what an adjustment does) adjustments aren't too expensive. In fact we offer lifetime adjustments to anyone who buys their guitars from us, so you should take it to the shop you bought it from and see if they do the same.
