are Europeans confused how Americans act at sporting events?

Like at baseball games, Americans are very polite. sit and watch the game.

But europeans at soccer games go crazy. punch each other. act like animals.

does american behavior seem strang to europeans?

  1. I'm European and please don't tell me that Americans are ''saints'' and never and I mean never punched each other. Please spare that.

Then, you sound like as if all Europeans in every and I mean every game held ,punch each other. It's so NOT TRUE.I know what I'm, saying since I live here.

Then we Europeans are very umm crazy in a way that we take very intrest in sports especially football. These days there is the UEFA and in the stadium, countries you can see the energy of the football supports.

Believe me it's amazing,I've been there.Everyone supporting their nation ♥!Oh,what a great sensation, espescially when there is goal!!

We don't sit and watch, we participate in the game and support.

Then why should we be confused about how Americans act at sporting events? It's not like we want to be like you, guys.

  2. Oh yes, forgive us for still having a soul and being interested in things. And no, sitting around at baseball makes perfect sense, since it's about as exciting as watching fruit spoil. Oh well, to each his own, to each his own...

  3. Baseball is so borrrrrrring. Of course we sit politely. We leave at the 7th inning and don't care.

Soccer is a much more exciting sport, of course they get more excited.

American football fans go nuts sometimes. It's all in the hype of a game.

  4. Not everybody gets that crazy. Of course there are hooligans everywhere that just use the sport as an excuse to get into fights and brawls. Also some countries are more prone to that behavior. Apart from this, soccer is much more exciting than baseball when 90% of the time just nothing happens.
