  1. Yes....VERY GOOD.  They Are Made By FENDER, just like a Strat, but they are quite different.  The MUSTANG is a short-scale guitar, meaning that the neck is shorter, and the frets are a little closer to each other.

Because of this, the F Chord is  easier to play.  They are costly because they are made in Japan, where the BEST FENDER GUITARS ARE MADE .

The Strat has 3 powerful pickops, and The MUSTANG has 2 less-powerful pickups.  Buth guitars are great for oldies, country, surf, punk rock, grunge, new wave, and some metal.

The Mustang has "vintage" frets, (they are thinner), making the guitar quite easy to finger.  Whammeys can make '' tuning a guitar '' a nuisance, but you can get used to it.  &  you will love the short-scale neck .

Both guitars have " double cutaway '' bodies.  The Mustang has (2) 3-position switches, which give different sounds by changing  polarities.

Get one --- U will Luv It !!

P.s. - The MUSTANG CAR by FORD was also a success ..
