Are Fibracell reeds harder than natural reeds?

I use Vandoren Paris grade 3. Will I be fine getting Fibracell grade 3?

I should say that Fibracell reeds are harder that bamboo reeds.  They are made of plastic.

Yes you will, fibracell reeds are better to use in jazz though.....using fibacell also depends on what kind of mouthpiec you are using....I have found that fibracell cell reeds go best with Beescler, Wilkerson, and otto link mouthpieces while Vandoran goes well with Selmer C*s, S80's, and Vandoran mouthpieces
