Are Filipinos Pacific Islander or Asian?

The Philippine Islands is in the Island of the Pacific and have a mixture of four different races.

I think they are considered Pacific Islanders as well as Asian.

They have similarities with Polynesian places.

Do you refer to yourself as Pacific Islander or Asian?

We are Asians.  There were 3 mixture of races that brought us to what we are now; negritos(black), indones and malays.  that's why we are similar to the polynesians.

I like to be labeled as Islanders, Malay polynesian or Austronesian.
