  1. NO. I bought a mustang last december. Definitely not. Maybe a v6 mustang that is automatic. Definitely not a v8 manual. My tires just spun. I had to take off in 3rd gear and it definitely did not handle well. I put like 500 pounds of salt in the trunk and it made it a little better. This year the mustang goes in the garage and out comes the geo tracker I bought :)

  2. I have a 80 Capri which is the same as the Mustang and have never been in a worse car in snow. I have owned only rear drive cars until recently so I don't want to hear about how I can't drive rwd

  3. probally not. it all depends on the tread of the tires

  4. No . I had 2 stangs when I lived in NJ, and you can't get around in the snow without snow tires and some weight in the back.

  5. If your not used to a rear wheel drive car in the snow then no.  A front wheel drive is your best choice.

  6. Not particularily, ford mustangs are not very well known for good traction in rain and snow so if youre planning on driving in snow, maybe pack some chains and a shovel incase...and get your airbags checked.

  7. not good....but 30 years ago there were no front wheel or AWD cars...we got aroun ok...didnt know any better i guess...but many today cant drive very well.
