It’s a good time to be a French rugby fan right now as their team have a tremendous opportunity to win their first Six Nations title since 2007 this spring; and with four out of the eight clubs in the Heineken Cup quarter-finals coming from France, the nation is currently enjoying a golden period – or season, at least. A joint second finish in last season’s Six Nations would only be satisfactory this time around. Marc Lièvremont’s side have the talent to lift the coveted trophy.
