Increasingly bad news for the US SUV Guzzler companies. Their stock continues to crash. Do they have a chance?

  1. 1) No.

    2) Yes. (If GM merges with Ford and if Chrysler moves every factory to Canada, Mexico, India, Indonesia and China from the United States of America)

  2. Unfortunately not, they can still pick up I think, but its going to be pretty difficult.

  3. No, not doomed.

    Yes, they have a chance.

Broad product lines, well beyond SUV guzzlers.

Challenging times for them, but no doom.

  4. no

  5. One of them might survive, maybe.  I have never seen such poorly run companies in my life.  Ford had a car which was an absolutely excellent car, the Escort.  I owned two of them.  Each got 38 mpg on the highway.  What did they do? Dropped it for the Focus.  What kind of gas milage does the Focus get on the highway?  33 mpg.  Do they deserve to exist?  Not with performances like that.

  6. ya, basically. i worked for Delbar Products which manufactured the mirrors for them. They are about completely shut down, and bought out.

    Its a tough industry.

  7. not if they start making electric or

    butane/methanol cars.

M Wards chose not to change their

business model and closed up shop

    instead......thus, any business can chose

to change with the times, or close up--

so, it is not doomed but instead,

    a voluntary closing down.
