  1. They may help, until the world breeds more people.

The long term solution is to reduce the population.  That in turn will reduce the demand for resources, the pollution released into the environment, and the overcrowding in far too many areas of the world.

  2. No.

Will still not solve the mess out there.

Will be more harm than good.

Even at a faster rate too.

    Exodus 19.19

But we have to learn and grow our own food too like what our elders practiced back in the past.

    Luke 9.25,55-56,60

    Look in the real world.

How we mess up human lives with science and mathematics on the young ones without being aware of the mess with self lack of knowledge.

    Luke 6.39-40,41-45,46-49

    What do you think?

  3. No its BS.

Canada, Aswell as America both have the ability to produce enough food for the entire world.

our societies are just to conditioned to the "throw away" mentallity we have adopted that we waste almost half of what we produce.

  4. Well GM crops dont have a higher yield but there are strains that could be grown in areas where agriculture isnt possible. Monsanto's drought resistant maize for example, but hippies and religious types dont like it so it will never happen.

  5. DANNY R is dead on. What is wrong with people blaming starvation on the population boom??? America ALONE has enough food to feed the entire world. We are dealing with epidemics that are virtually unheard of in starving countries, OBESITY, JUNK FOOD!!? " You mean you actually eat food that has no nutritional value, its strictly for pleasure?" Many countries cannot even fathom the incredible waste and greed that is manifest in this country. Its appauling. Its not LACK OF FOOD, its POOR DISTRIBUTION.

  6. Most of the starvation in the world is caused by poor distrubution of supplies often due to wars and corrupt governments.  GM won't solve those problems and may cause many new ones.

  7. A recent study showed that GM soya produced a lower yield than old-fashioned soya.

There's plenty of food to go round.  In the West, we waste most of it.  The supermarkets throw away more food than they sell.  Consumers throw away more food than they eat. And the EU pay farmers to set aside land.

  8. Anything that is GENITALY modified means its been f***ed around with doesn't it?
