Are Gameboy Games Compatible on the Nintendo DS lite

I wanna get a pink nintendo ds... but the games for them are like 30 and 40 dollers... so i was wondering if gameboy, and gameboy advance games work on the DS, cause those games are cheaper...

Yes, but you won't be able to use them with the touch screen.

ya, and you can go to settings and pick if you want it to be on the top screen or the bottom screen.

yup you can use GBA games on a DS Lite. But you're not gonna want to because the DS game are awesome

It depends. GBA games are compatible- there's a slot especially for them- but game boy  and game boy colour games aren't.
